Subject: A very easy (newbee) question

Hi all, i'm trying to change the "ground" texture i tried almost every format (GIF,JPG,BMP) but it wont change the floor(ground) in the texture which i have ... what do i do wrong...... Thanx in advance

Click Render/Materials (or Ctrl+U) Select the GROUND in the Object box Click Texture Map/Load and load your texture JPG, BMP, TIF, not sure about GIF? Ensure that Strength is set at 100% (default) unless you want otherwise and that your new texture is selected. Click OK Now click Display/Guides/Ground Plane (or CTRL+G) That should do it. Test render

...also, remember to set the Surface Color to 100% White and make sure you are in "Texture Shaded" display mode (ctl-9) to see it in preview. (well, they did say "nubie")
