Subject: Guess nobody is interested in the fairy animations?

I deleted my earlier post with the avis.. no sense wasting time and webspace on them.

Drats! I certainly missed out on them. I don't often have the time to peruse these forums, or else I would have caught your post. Although fairly new (no pun intended) to Poser and Bryce, I am attempting to make a short (3 or 4 minute) fairy animation in Poser against a Bryce background, and I could use all the inspiration (from artists like you) that I can get. Is there anyway to still view your work? Maybe even via an email transmission?

Hi Terry You can go to http://3up3dn.webjump.com and download both of the animations. Ed

Ok. Finaly managed to download them (after several disconnects from the server). I liked the cute "hello wave" in each. It made her connect on a pleasant human-like level with me. How did you do the two different "getting up" moves? Cool! I am trying to get my faerie from a prone position (chin in hands, elbows on ground) to a fully standing position, but I'm too new at Poser (only a couple of weeks) to pull it off. If you have animated poses or something that I could access, I'd sure like to know. I can't afford the Zygote faerie (yet), so I've been trying to animate one of Renapd's cute (and free) creations (the female servant child faerie). I don't know if I am losing any flexibility or ease of animation functions compared to the Zygote faerie, but Renapd's creation sure is cute, and she's perfectly done to represent my ideal faerie. I think it's ashame that no one else commented on your animations. Of course, it doesn't mean that others didn't get to see and enjoy them, just they they may not have commented. I know I'm too busy to respond to the many interesting posts that I manage to read, but I enjoy and learn from them just the same. It seems that Poser animations are undertaken less than still scenes. That's why, in my pursuit of learning how to animate, I access any and every forum I can find on the net. Not that there aren't talented, helpful animators on Renderosity (I've certainly seen many a fine animation post here), but I must admit I have found more active "encouragement" and dialogue regarding animation on PFO. (Please, no flames anyone. It's just my personal observation. And maybe it will insight a flury of new animation dialogue in this animation forum to prove me wrong. We would all benefit from that. I like, and benefit immensely from, both forums. They both serve the Poser community very well indeed.)

Thanks for the comments Terry If you would like the pz3 files, I would be more than happy to send them to you. Think they would help you more than me trying to explain what I did. Not really sure I can explain what I did :) Email me at "3up3dn@sprintmail.com" if you would like the pz3 files. I can change the figure so you can open it. Ed
