Poser Technical F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 13 12:50 am)
Welcome to the Poser Technical Forum.
Where computer nerds can Pull out their slide rules and not get laughed at. Pocket protectors are not required. ;-)
This is the place you come to ask questions and share new ideas about using the internal file structure of Poser to push the program past it's normal limits.
New users are encouraged to read the FAQ sections here and on the Poser forum before asking questions.
For Mac use, PC stuff has to be converted using MacConverter (a free program). I don't know the details but hopefully somebody else will.

Yes, Martin C.'s Poser Maconverter 1.1.5 (and his other software) are the answers to most Mac newbie questions. Someone has probobly asked this before but I couldn't find it in the dadabase.I've downloaded several things from the free stuf area and put all the files in the correct folders. The file folders show up in the library within poser but the items themselves are not there, just a blank library. Am I missing a step somewhere? BTW I'm using a mac. Thanks and sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm new to this.
