Many thanks for your replies. What I am trying to do is to import Lightwave obj's that are downloaded without going into the Lightwave program itself . For instance ,there is a Blimp (airship)and a boeing 747 which imports without any trouble from my download file and from the same family a sailing Bark and a frigate which won't import , or what happens is it seems to import into Poser but nothing happens and the program freezes, and I have to control alt delete to get out of the program. Should I import these models into Lightwave first, go to the menu bar and tools'--freeze , then save them as obj's. Thanks arrow1

Poser does a poor job generally of importing .LWO, the ProPack only supports 5.6 style models, so your best bet is to convert the models to .obj format in Lightwave. You could also use Lightwave to save as 5.6 format, but generally .obj works better with poser. Regards- Lemurtek

Also what funny is I have Inspire and Lightwave 5.6 and the Inspire cheaper program imports the maps correctly and 5.6 doesn't. But he's right send it out OBJ.... Also if you are looking for Lightwave models that have the texture I bought on e-Bay the Light Rom series real cheap..the creator of series is the one selling them.
