This is my Bryce challenge entry for this month. "Sea Monsters" is a fantasy battle between myths and legends. A fanciful (boolean and lattice) Nautilus submarine charges at a ferocious spiny octopus-like sea monster made from Metaballs. Everything is Bryce native, no imported textures, grayscales or images used. No post work other than adding my name. Enjoy! Comments welcome.

20,000 Booleans beneath the sea!!! :-O This is fabulous! All thumbs up material alley! But then, you do make great images! :-P I can well see that the challenge is going to be a tough one in terms of deciding whom to vote for! :-p

Cool ship! monster looks non-organic and dry you neet to give it some bumpmap and a more watery specularity. Do a repost with these things changed(and I mean if it actually looks better after it's changed) and it's a really great image.

Great work Alleycat. Where is that texture on the Nautilus located in Bryce?

The Metal Plate texture is on the Bryce5 CD in the Metals catagory of extra textures. When I installed Bryce a while back I added all the extra textures that come on the CD. Most people don't even know they have all these extras.
