heyas; when you load a prop, poser appends a number to the name. so the first cone you add is cone_1. the second one is cone_2. you really can't stop it from doing that. you can load a cone, and change the name to 'ice cream cone,' and save it, but when you load it next, it will come out as 'ice cream cone_1.' that's just to prevent two things in the scene from having the same name. if you have to number them, try naming them something like prop-1 or prop1, without the space or underscore.

I've renamed some props through object properties (just a series of one sided cubes with different textures applied), but when I save them to the library I lose the new name, weird thing is that it doesn't go back to what it was originally, some seem to work just fine, but those with similar names seem to revert to the first of those types, so Prop 1 when changed to Prop 3 reverts back to Prop 1 when saved to and loaded from the library, This is driving me crazy I've even editted the pp2 and changed all the references to the old file name but that doesn't seem to work either.
If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them
Thanks
Alex
