Sorry about the off-topic. - How can I make Internet Explorer ask my permission before it accepts any cookies? (I know how to do it with Netscape.) - How can I make Netscape and Internet Explorer ignore Java and Javascript?

While in IE go to the Tools menu, then, go down to Internet options, then to Advanced. you can use the check box to except C's or not and to use Java or not. BUT! It really doesn't matter if you tell IE to STOP COOKIE USE!!! It still writes them to a directory on your hard drive X:windowscookies and it files another copy of them in X:windowsTemporary internet files. You just wont know your getting them. Then occasionally you should run the disk clean-up utility included with windows it will clean out the nasty cookies. OR you could by a cookie killer utility. Just remember that your password to places like uh... renderosity.com is saved in a cookie and if deleted you will have to log on every time you come here. Hope this help Anthony. ;-)

Try...... Share Ware .com Tucows .com One of the two of them has free download called "COOKIE CUTTER" I used to use it all the time, now I just watch where I go... Another good one is called WINDOW WASHER...That gives you about 90 days, then gotta send them some money.... Either way, It cant hurt to physically go in and clean them out...You'll be shocked by how much wasted space them little buggers take....

Try CAche & Cookie Washer by webroot (webroot.com). Think there's still a demo available and, if I remember correctly, the full version for Netscape was $14.95. There's also a version for Internet Exploder. The full version lets you keep cookies you want preserved, like a forum log on.
