I don't know if this is the right place to put this but I want the folks at Renderosity to consider something. I just saw a ad with poser nudity. My eyes aren't burning or anything but the people I invite to look at my gallery may not like the ads with nudity. People may think this is some strange website. I think there should not be nudity in the ads. My 2 cents

You're talking about banner ads, right? I'm not against a tasteful nude, but, since in the galleries we are required to specify if an artwork contains nudity because it can disturb someone, so I think that must not be allowed the use of nudity in the ads, 'cos they are displayed without controls by the part of who is surfing 'rosity.

Agree. We try not to allow nudity in the advertising. If you can tell us which image, we will have it changed. thanks tammy

http://www.renderosity.com/photos/AdExclFeverDreams.jpg is the url to a banner image I feel strongly should have a nudity tag on it. in fact i feel that based on the pose depicted on that banner it should have an adult only restriction on it and http://www.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=423 is the store page that clicking on that banner went to.

I agree with watching the content of the banner ads. I send my gallery link to family, friends, co-workers etc. I also bring my daughter to this site occassionally to see images that are suitable and enjoyable for her. As well as to show her what Mommy has been making and putting on the Internet. While I can control pretty much everything, I can't control the banner ads :( So, I'm suggesting that HOW "mature" content in Advertisements should be displayed gets discussed and looked at. I'm not suggesting it should be stopped outright.

Thanks for the heads up. I preview all banner Ads before they are activated. This specific ad has been running for a long time...As a matter of fact 1 year to be exact. I have started watching for new Ads that display nudity. We have had a few complaints, note I say few, on this ad but not enough to pull it. It has been discussed in the past amoung the staff and we left it since we felt it was tasteful. AdExclFeverDreams.jpg Clint MarketPlace Manager

I have no problem with that particular one showing. But I was taken back slightly when I clicked on it though!! I had no idea what I would be running into. Would it be possible to just tag (in small type) ads like the one above? That way I'll know NOT to open it during family hours!! I'm glad there haven't been many complaints and am there fore doubly grateful for you guys looking at this. Thanks Clint.
