I'm wondering... I got me an old Canoscan recently given to me. If I were to scan a single frame on a contact sheet, at say, 2880 dpi, would a flatbed scanner be able to ppick up all the details? I only ask cause I haven't plugged it in yet, and I'm about to go to my last class of the semester... anyone ever try, or wiling to try while I'm away? ry

Been there, done that. You can scan, but not that much detail, sorry. Not enough to be printed out nicely in large format, anyhow. (*

It works, but depends on what you want it for. My flatbed is only 600ppi. Did this for my archives a couple years ago.

Misha, thank you, thank you - you have, quite unwittingly, done what I was trying to get anyone to do a couple of months back, in that we can now see the poses and stages you've gone through in a shoot (or part of) with the good and bad poses..... My point at the time was we only ever see the damn good shots of a model shoot, when really there are a lot of shots that lead up to the good poses - they don't just happen suddenly and in order. Wow. This makes it clearer for me. Maybe I'm just wierd. Anyways, thanks again! (",)

Er, any time, Jordy. Glad to help.
