When you enable IK for say the left hand and then click on the left hand, you will see a white guide floating to show you where the IK is anchored. How do you control or animate that white guide? I cant find any way to really control it other than turning IK off then back on to reset its position and when I do that it messed up all my keyframes in the animation. Any help is deeply appreciated!!!

basically you can only animate things that have dials. Since IK is a menu option and not controlled by a dial - you can't animate it. What effect is it that you are trying to accomplish??

Well.. I seldom use IK, (but it certainly has it's value), so maybe I haven't got this quite right, but I believe you will notice that when IK in turned on, hands and feet aquire x,y,z, position dials that aren't ordinarily there. Use these dials to move the hands and feet when IK is activated...if I remember right, the dials essentially move the position of the anchor and the extemity in question will follow as best it can. Be warned: animating with IK on can make things like knees and elbows bend in the most awkward ways unless you've also got limits turned on.
