if it is possible to reference a .pp2 file from a .cr2.

I've created a figure from a prop in order to create some MAT files, but in order to distribute the .cr2 I need to remove the custom geometry of the props (at least I think I do?) , but I only have the .pp2 file, I know I can create the object file and reference that, but I doubt I will be able to distribute the obj file.

why oh why can't you create MAT files for parented props it would make life so much easier

I'd appreciate any thoughts, I'm fresh out of ideas now,

If the obj is someone elses, you need MOVER... it will create a difference file you can distribute in place of the obj! To get the obj data out of the cr2 and reference externally... Darn... I've reformatted my frive and lost the link, but there is a tutorial about... Anyone have the link? H:)
