Subject: Screwy download count on freestuff

As many of you have noticed the download counter in the freestuff area is off :) To fix the problem they are going to have to pull data from backup tapes to get a baseline. During the fix you will see some of the numbers go to zero. But all the download stats should be returned to their proper levels. It will take until early next week for all the numbers to be restored. smerc

OOH, I certainly hope we can get our "former or Real" counts back. I'm always wondering if anyone even wants my Freebies.... The counts used to make me feel confident. My heart sank to see zeroes on all my free stuff. Message671422.jpg

I don't know Ron, I kind of enjoyed seeing 3664 on mine before they were zeroed. Until I remembered they're on someone elses server.... just imagine 3GB of bandwidth in 24 hours - eek! Good job it was a mistake then.
