I have this picture I thought it could be really neat. BUT as you can see there are some problems. I thought to crop it as shown below. But what to do next. Brighten the paint on the door, change the color. Suggestions greatly appreciated.

I cropped things some. Adjusted the shadow, lighting, saturation, and contrast. Bsteph

By cropping it you have lost the nice texture of the brick & the edge of the wood which I thought made quite a nice lead into the image. I think your focal point needs to be sharper or clearer (or something!!) at the moment my eye keeps wandering all over unsure what to look at.
