Subject: Carrara 2 - any books out yet?

I realize this is early, but are there any 3rd party books on Carrara 2 out yet? Personally, I think it would be advantageous to the makers of the software to encourage these being published before or with the release... whets the appetites and perhaps clarifies questions for those not certain about the product. thanks.......

Well, there was a rumor (that was not a rumor) saying that Bill Flemming was considering writing a book about Carrara some time ago ... Don't have any fresh news, i'll try to look into that and keep you informed if anything comes out :)

Does Mr. Flemming make his way around here? What's his membership name? I like to ask for myself if he's considering writing a book about Carrara! = )

Well, he has an article in the first (and so far only) issue of Renderosity magazine under the name BillF, so I assume he must be a member and that's his screen name. I've never actually seen him around here, though.

cute... most manuals seem to skim over things, and do you already have the manual on this unreleased version? Where do you get it?

There are some Pdf files at their web site that do a fair job.
