Tuesday made this Kit for transforming your little smithy into a figure that will accept Mat poses and it is offered free at her site and my site plus through the Free Stuff area. The kit comes with instructions and the figure needed to set up the house for Mats. Plus textures are in the works for the Smithy and all the "little" houses. Ironhart

Click this Link to see a render in the gallery of this texture. Here is a picture of the soon to come texture by Tuesday for the "Little Smithy". The details in this texture are awesome. Ironhart

This looks great Ironhart, but may I make a suggestion, the building looks fabulous, but the door looks to new next to the building. What do you think...Sharen

I think they had to replace the old door cause it fell off it's hinges. seriously though, there are a few ways to fix this. change background color to something more neutral might work. or make a texture for the door. The door does have it's own template if my memory serves me well. Also note that in the gallery image she made the door still looks new but the hinges and the framing look ancient. To me this conveys that the old building is still in use and that the girl actually lives there. I never questioned it, but then again I am sure I have prejudices towards it. maybe i Will Make a replacable door mesh that is made up of boards with gaps and a greyish texture... then again maybe I won't. I'm extreemly busy lately. The texture is tuesdays and modifying it would be up to her. If I were her I might make a second texture for the door to match and put it in the freebie area. That might be a good publicity move. Billy

Ok, while I was making up this texture, i was working on the premise that this door would be the front door. As such it would be made with more superior materials, being the main 'visitor' entrance to the house. I do however take your point and so will probably add a second set of textures for the side doors, incase those doors aren't appropriate for the scene.

Thanks for pointing this out Sharen, it is always good to get feedback that can help improve a product

I really do like the way everything looks, maybe it is the contrast against the greyish brick that is stands out so much to me. You both did a really nice job on it though, my respect to you both. Sharen

I think this is excellent. I can hardly wait. All of ironhart's medieval things are excellent, and this texture really, really sets off the smithy so well. Linda
