We were celebrated the Queens Jubilee on the green outside my house and this guy turned up with this owl. I only had coulple of minutes to photoghaph it

You had to be quick to try and photograph it as it turned its head very quickly

wonderful job.... :) those feathers are gorgeous!they would make for some interesting texturing in a 2d image. i love the angle and the closeness of the shot. well done! hope the owl got a treat after being shot, so to speak, ahem not shot like with a bullet, er um... okay better sit down now,lol.

What a wonderful creature...I used to collect owl things and I just love them! Star!!! You had an owl? Wow!

Niko, YEP. :-) Vicious and huge. My dad got superstitious and gave it away. (Summink about bad luck in the house or whatever...) :-( (*

Niko: Yeah, bigger than the average chicken. I only had it for a week before it was given away. I used to feed it a vegetarian diet (bananas and such. I'm too soft-hearted to give it anything that will fight for its own life). (That's probably why it was vicious-- looking at my hand like weird... LOL) (*
