Subject: Question about support for Anton's clothing in Tailor

milamber42 ( ) posted Fri, 07 June 2002 at 11:55 AM ยท edited Tue, 04 February 2025 at 9:14 PM

The DAZ page for The Tailor states Support for Alternate Geometries in Bodies and Clothes. For example Michael's genitalia and some Anton Kisiel Clothes. Has anyone tried The Tailor with Anton's Spywear Confoming Clothing & Hair? Also, the Pop Stars states that Vicki's legs have to be hidden with the pants. Has anyone tried to use The Tailor to fit the Victoria Pop Stars pants to her legs? Any info is much appreciated!

Why would you want to fit the Pop Star pants to Vickie's legs? They become her legs and pose like them-- that's because they are pant and boot combined and a special straight slightly flared pant. If it's a drag to make them invisible, go to Traveler's MorphWorld and download his great utility Hide/show that lets you easily turn body parts invisible and visible again-- has other nice things like a Michael and Vickie white-out and zeropose as well. I put a ! in front of it so it shows up top of the Pose list because I use it every time I open Poser. Could use an update to white out Steph though-- hint hint, actually I saved a white out steph in characters but for others who haven't. About the Spywear, I'm not sure if anyone has Tailored them because they use slightly different shaping. On a side note, I have no problem applying the standard morphs on the standard Mil figures in Tailor but I have nothing but trouble trying to use Tailor for special cases--Frazella, for instance, completely eludes me, poor thing has to stay naked [everybody goes aaaaaawwww ;-)] same with the Fantasy Desires. I'm afraid the same thing will happen with Alanis and smaller bodied figures like the new upcoming Ki. I'm missing some step here, don't know what it is. Emily

There is an update to the Tailor version 1.1 on daz3d. In the description, you can read that the new version works with Antons clothing. You can find the upgrade on the productpage. Robert

Hi Emily, those characters are not only morphed but the bodyparts are also scaled. You have to scale each part of the cloth to the same value as the corresponding bodypart of the figure. I'm off to morph some clothes. ;)

Thanks for the animated example MadYuri! It looks like you used Stephanie and her Muscular FBM as an example. Am I right?

Looks like the Spywear just made my DAZ Summer shopping list!

You are half right milamber, it is the Muscular and the Stephanie FBM morph combined. ;)
