yesterday i bought the haunted mansion. everything seemed to install fine except for the pose files. i started playing with the props and when i went to pose them i saw the haunted mansion category but it was empty. ay ideas what could have happened?

Check to be sure that the files have the right extension for the category of library they are inhabiting. They might be under poses, they might be under props but a .pp2 file should only be in one place. Also, you can opt to manually install. Their installer will extract the files and supply a readme saying where each file should go. Carolly

I got it a long time ago when it was still here, I think I recall the main house being in a PZ3 file? Try this; Create a Poser4 folder (empty) in your root directory. Start the Haunted House installation again from your DAZ downloaded EXE. When it shows the "Searching for Poser installation..." display (or however it's phrased), click "cancel" - then when it pops up the window with the installation path, Click "browse" and navigate to the empty Poser4 folder you created. Let it install into that folder, creating the folders it needs as it goes. That way you can look over the files, find the readme, and know where everything ended up in the original installation.* * This is the procedure I follow with anything Poser I install, either ZIP or EXE, that way I can place things more to my preferences, consolidating down the library folders with only one or few things, and renaming folders for better organization.

Maybe that's why it's haunted o_O

i just got an email from daz. they said i needed to start poser then choose open under the file menu and open the pose file. this brings all the rooms together into one big house. It only loads showing the outside of the house. there still aren't any poses for any interior rooms. mike
