The coonskin cap storms off having seen Vicky wearing the biker cap. Vicky watches him go stunned, unable to call out to him. Her heart virtually breaking. ![Message671424.jpg](http://www.renderosity.com/photos/Message671424.jpg) - oh well, he'll be back she hopes.

The coonskin cap, on the rebound from a shameless hussy, finds a new love in the form of [Florence Ambrose](http://www.purrsia.com/freefall/default.htm), Bowman's Wolf and chief engineer of the *Savage Chicken*. They share many mutual interests, including a fondness for soft-bristle brushes.

(The cap is in the picture. Honest. Look harder! This is low-res Vicky also.)

Is the cap her tail? :)

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Wed, 12 June 2002 at 6:43 PM

Yes. It doesn't show up well at this angle, unfortunately. I might create a separate tail prop with additional segments for Florence since the cap-portion itself is consuming resources, even when invisible.

Here's an older render of Florence; you should be able to see the cap a bit better.

Took me longer to create flat-chested morphs for V-Lo2P4 and the catsuit than it did to make the rest of the character!

It's a great character. Captures all of the "furry" feeling that's in 2d stuff.

Clever use of the coonskin cap.

I was going to say "joined at the hip" so to speak, but I won't.

meanwhile, back in Poserland . . . Lores Vickie in a futile attempt to seek revenge on Coonskin Cap for leaving her, sicks ScottA's Trex on our hero. Coonskin Cap thinks to himself "did Vickie actually forget what coonskin caps eat - or is this some lame attempt to get me back?". as Trex approaches, Coonskin Cap prepares for battle ... and dinner!

Content Advisory! This message contains violence

file_12301.jpg

Whats this? a fashon fopah ? a new style for the trex about town" No!! Our hero has rescaled himself, (one of many hidden powers), jumped on the back of the trex and is tickling his nose, knowing that if a trex sneezes it will blow its brains out. Lores looks on as the battle rages, at first chiding CC and as the battle continues , cheers CC on. Lores Vicky, distracted by the fight, is approached from behind by Florence Ambrose . . ."she's not gonna get him back that easy", muses Floence . . . Will Florence cause the nudity button to get checked?, Will CC cause the TRex to sneeze?, Will this ever end or at least get interesting? Tune in next time for the further "Adventures of The Coonskin Cap."

Violence?! Hehe. This is a cute series.

It's all Little Dragon's fault.

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Sat, 15 June 2002 at 6:01 PM

Oh, sure, blame the dragon ... we eat all the local virgins, dry up the wells, are responsible for storms and high taxes .... why don't you pick on a mythological creature your own size?

Next time I make an item like the cap, I'm going to include a secret teeth-morph feature, just for bikermouse's benefit.

bikermouse ( ) posted Sat, 15 June 2002 at 7:23 PM

L.D.: I only blame you for the good things. I have plenty of other mythological creatures(mostly Greek) to blame for the bad. For example you can blame Loki(and a tired sorcereer) for the fact that Thor has a short hammeer.(Wait a moment. That's not Greek !!) What was miss Ambrose saying - it played so fast it was hard to hear.(I'll check the link. thanks) I should have said all the good things in this post were based on the coonskin cap(c)Little Dragon, Lo-res Vicky (c)DAZ and T-Rex(c)ScottA. So as you can see except for some minor plot innovations, it Was to a large degree L.D.'s "fault". . . . meanwhile ,having enjoyed a rather large meal, as CC cap strolls off hand in hand in hand into the sunset with Florence and Lores he turn sideways for a momemnt and shouts, "I'll be back." . . . Arnold looking slightly displeased, turns away.

bikermouse ( ) posted Sat, 15 June 2002 at 9:32 PM

L.D.: got it. Who's Helix? What is The Savage Chicken? ihiannan: Forgot to say thanks. So thanks . . . Take a bow L.D.

Transcript from the video:
"I have to admit, he's much more fun to hunt down than Helix, and twice as much fun to chew on."

The Savage Chicken is the ancient spaceship to which Florence was accidently assigned. She's the ship's engineer.

Helix is the ship's robot. He picks up heavy things, moves them, then puts them down.

Read all about Florence and the crew of the Savage Chicken at the online comic strip Freefall. Then visit the forum, and learn about some of the in-jokes I slipped into the video.
