Hi, I've been trying out the Vue demo for a couple days now. I like it but I am curious as to what the difference is between the amount of materials offered when you buy it. Are there more materials available on the 2nd cd? For instance in the landscape material section there are only 4 materials available is that the same as when you buy Vue? Thanks for the help.

Hello and welcome. Yes, Vue has hundreds of materials of all kind and you can create as many new one as you like. You also can use bitmaps for mapping objects. You also have lots of atmospheres, plants, and and and. You just will love it:-). Come back here for any question or help. See you then soon:-) Guitta

And, I forgot: atmospheres, objects and materials are also created by users and given away for free. The second CD is full of etras and sample scenes/animations to study. Many tutorials for Vue are available here at Renderosity too.

Hi Manikin,

There are more material available in the complete version. But I have to say that all the preset materials are not very realistic.

VUE's material editor is very powerfull and user friendly : try to create some materials (either procedural or bitmap) you'll see that in a few minutes you can create incredible textures !

You can also download free materials for VUE4 in the free stuff area, or free bitmap textures on many other sites.
