Thanks for the tip Aldaron. After a year of using bryce, I was still under the impression that plop rendering was for preview work. Thanks everyone for your input. here is the finished product

Great work! Personylly, I use often plop rendering in scenes I have finished - when I move things or edit textures, I don't render the whole scene again, but use plop render for the changed areas. Saves much time. :) Again: a wonderful image! Take care, Jimi
