I'm experimenting with the sketch designer. I'm having problens with the transparency maps. Sometimes they seem to work and sometimes they don't. I can't figure out the pattern. Sometimes, the entire piece of clothing seems to just become sheer. Is there a dial or something to enable? Also, much thanks to Don Albert for his wonderful tutorial. I'm having a lot of fun fooling around with sketches after ignoring them for years.

I've found that the best way to do transparency with the sketch designer is to first render the picture normally. Save the picture and then import it into an empty Poser scene as a background picture. Then do the sketch render. The above picture is an example of a rendered picture (which contained transparent hair) and a sketch rendering of it. (I'm not certain, but I may have done some postproduction on the original rendering before using the sketch renderer on it.)

You are quite welcome. Hope you find it useful. There are some free Sketch Design styles available in Free Stuff. Search for Don. In the galleries at my site are many different sketch render images.
