These are pics i taken in the past 2 weeks attending a theater show based upon "A midsummer's night dream". I had a LOT of troubles in shooting these pics. the light was really poor. the best shot i've taken is in my gallery (drop some comments/ratings plz... as always i LOVE crytics...) I'm not good in taking people shots. i really don' like human beings. often i consider 'em pretty boring and.... YES, i'm a WC in shooting peoples... as you can see... Anyway... i like difficoult tasks... so i'll force myself to take more pplk shoots for a while. BE CRUEL guyz... thanks... =)

another one.... this damn Sigma 70-200 is too weighty for me... i need to train my arm a little more... =P In this shot i find the out of focus zone too disturbing. I like the garbage can tho...

I like the first one, good candid shot although it would be better if you could see the girls hands, nice light too. The second is just a bit too out of focus!!

Low light level and Zoom lens can make for difficult shooting conditions. Tripods are almost a must, otherwise the focus will not be sharp enough. Of course if you are like me you never carry/use your tripod when you should. :) --Randy R

these waz circumstance shots. so... i can't use the tripod in front of two guys doing gurgles... maybe i shuold buy a monopod... =)

I think these are good candid shots, but for the second one if it were me, I'd do it this way. The blurry background distracts the eye from the subject who is looking in the other direction. I lightened the face a bit (and unintentionally blown out the shoulder-- my mistake), the shadows are hiding the nice smile.

Btw, I agree, people are very interesting photography subjects. :-)
