It happens because you have given the morphs the same name. When you create a full body morph change the name slightly, FaerieC, (C for Crescent :) Then you won't have the cross talk between the base figure and the clothes. To change this in the clothes you have already created edit the CR2 for the clothes. Open and editor, do search and replace on the whole file, (i.e. Faerie with FaerieC) Later, Phillip
That's it, except I recommend you use a coding system for each clothing item and for other outfits otherwise you can get cross talk if you use them in the same scene.
It may sound a little confusing, but its really fairly simple. I don't have that armor, but lets assume there is a skirt and a top. Name the fairie morph on the skirt Fairie_sobs (Sisters of Battle Skirt). Name the top Fairie_sobt (Sisters of Battle Top). Keep using that kind of extension for all the morphs in each piece of clothing.
Now when you tailor something else, take something from its name (abbreviation, initials, etc.) and if you want to use both outfits in the same scene their morphs won't cross talk. Be consistent with the top, skirt, bracers, boots, etc. initial you use and only change the abbreviation for each outfit to make it a little easier to get a flow going.
Morphs named in this manner will never cross talk with Vicki, with each other, or with other clothing outfits because thier morphs are always unique. You will only have cross talk problems if you use two identical morphed clothing items in the same scene. For that, you can use the null loader thing. Its a little flaky with clothes because their figure names aren't always consistent with what the null loader needs, but it usually works.
Hope that's helpful.
Once I turned my brain back on, I realized it was cross-talk and it was naming the morphs the same that did it. (I'm home sick today. Clicking buttons and watching the blue bar go across the screen with The Tailor is just at my intellectual level right now.) I wasn't sure if the cross-talk in this case was a good idea or bad idea. Bad it is. It won't take long to recreate the file. Thanks!
I used to think this was a good thing, it is cute when it works correctly, adjust the figure, and the clothing matches automatically. As long as you morphs are correct it works fine. Recently I've decided it is no longer a good idea, manytimes Poser will lock the morph but not ajdust it, either. I'm no longer going to mactch FBM names. It should be noted, incidently, while the FBM might be locked you can still run the invidual morphs, this works on common crosstalk too.
FYI, as I mentioned in another recent post. You can call it crosstalk, you can call it ERC. The problem is that Poser does not respond consistently to it across all versions ( Poser 4, 4.03, ProPack) and OS (OS, OSX, Windoze). Changing the clothing morph name will prevent the crosstalk but you will have to dial the morphs. If you have ProPack you can write a script that will look at the target figure, get its morph settings, then apply them to the clothings (after adjusting for the prefix).

There's an interesting thread on Crosstalk here. That kind of crosstalk is excellent when it works right - then you don't have to turn a zillion dials to get the clothing to fit. If there's one thing I hate about the V2 Morphing Clothes it's having to find all the morphs I've used on Vicki also in the clothing item and then copy the exact values... shudder Maybe I should try to make duplicates of those clothing items and rename the morphs. ponder

I've been playing with a Tailored Serrge's Sisters Of Battle Armor and found out that it cross-talks with the base Vicky figure. It only works on morphs that I transferred to the armor via the Tailor. I can set the Vicki body to Faerie and the armor automatically goes to Faerie as well, though the morph dial stays at 0, and changing it does no good. (If I use a morph on Vicki that I didn't replicate on the armor, the armor doesn't change.) It also happens for Aiko (and assumedly Stephanie.) Has anyone else found any other clothing that does this? It took me over half an hour to figure out what was going on. I'm trying to decide if this is a good thing or a bad thing. This cross-talk is almost like collision detection. On the other hand, if you want multiple Vicki's and use the Millenium Null figure, the clothing will stop autofitting. I'm going to release the morphs for the armor in the FreeStuff, but I'm trying to decide if it's good to leave it as is, with cross-talk, or to rename everything to avoid the cross-talk. Any ideas on this?
