If anyone's interested, I've uploaded the Renderosibee to my Home Page here at Renderosity. You're free to do anything but sell him (duh!). In fact, if any of you folks that have your own sites would like to add him to your downloads, PLEASE DO, I'd be very grateful. All I ask is that the zip file remains intact, readme and all. I do ask that you only download him from my page if you want to add him to your site, or at least are planning to use him in a project soon. If you just want to grab him and add him to your hoard, please wait until someone posts him somewhere with more bandwidth, since I don't really have a whole lot on that page, and when you use up this month's allowance, that's it for everyone. BTW, this doesn't mean I'm not going to be doing more skits with him. Not at all. I'm just offering everyone else a chance to join in the fun. Hey, 3D Commune has their "Woodies", so we oughta a have a mascot, too, eh? The file is about 1.1 megs.

Great news, all the bees in my hives are doing a waggle dance for joy at finding a new buddy. But they do say they will wait until she gets HER travel visas. Try asking jchimim. he might have room, he hosts quite a bit for me in freestuff.

Oh I just read about that bandwith thing. guess I'll have to wait. (buzz----zezeeee buzz buzz)

What I want to know is, what's the buzz on the broad... I thought he was a loner... Renderosibee is my hero...

Hey folks, no need to be THAT shy! I have a bandwidth limit of 1024 megs per month, so with the file only being about 1.1 megs, that leaves room for quite a few downloads! It's just that I know how some of the people around here can be, hoarding things they'll never even use just because it's there, hence the warning. But at this moment, there have only been two measly downloads, so go grab him! Sorry, I didn't mean to make the situation sound that desperate. Christ, I think everyone who's replied so far has been among the select few who've commented on my past R-bee threads, so you're the ones I'd most like to share it with! What are you waiting for, GET DOWNLOADING!;)

davidm ( ) posted Sat, 06 July 2002 at 2:30 PM

Thanks!! He's GREAT!! Man, all this excitement is bringing me out in hives!! ;-) Dave :-) (Buzzzzzzzzzzzzz)

x2000 ( ) posted Sat, 06 July 2002 at 2:32 PM

BTW, if anyone posts any pics of R-bee in the gallery, please let me know. I don't really have time to browse the gallery much, so if it's not mentioned in the forum, or someone IM's me, I don't know about it. In fact, I'm still waiting to see someone post a pic using my restaurant product, so if you ever see one (or even do one, customer-folks), please drop me a line, I'd love to see it.:)

x2000 ( ) posted Sat, 06 July 2002 at 2:35 PM

Oh, and Quixote? Yeah, he's pretty much a loner, but he still likes to make little honey now and then...

The one on the left looks apprehensive! Tell him not to worry, I'll treat him good, LOL!

For the uninitiated, the main link is my first post about Renderosibee, and the other two are a couple of his adventures in Poserland.;) http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=761267 http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=771188 There will be more to come, whenever I can find the time to render them, but I'd love to see what other people can dream up for the little guy, too.

*sigh* OK, folks, I've started a new thread. It seems that someone is having a problem with the little guy. If you've downloaded him, please try him out as soon as you can and let me know if he's working for you or not. The other thread has the details of the problem, but let's just say that if you've got it, you'll know instantly. If he DOES work fine, please let me know that, too, so that I can narrow the list of suspected culprits. As I've said in the other thread, you need to check "Genitals" in the Figure menu to see his hip (a bit of info that I forgot to add to the readme, I'm afraid). Other than that, he's always worked fine for me. Whatever the problem is, I'll get it fixed as soon as I can track down the source. If anyone has any ideas, please share them. Sorry for any inconvenience. Next time, I'll find myself a beta tester...

Entropic ( ) posted Sat, 06 July 2002 at 6:41 PM

OOH! OOH! Can I beta test the SQUIRRELOSITY X2K?! Can I Can I PLEASE???

x2000 ( ) posted Sat, 06 July 2002 at 6:49 PM

Paul, the job is yours;)

Entropic ( ) posted Sat, 06 July 2002 at 7:22 PM

Hoo-RAY!!! Paul does the happy wierdo dance I am a unique and beautiful snowflake...

x2000 ( ) posted Sat, 06 July 2002 at 8:45 PM

Well, for those who haven't read the other thread yet, here's the deal: You HAVE to have "Genitalia" in the Figure menu checked. That's what caused the problem. I knew the hip disappeared otherwise, but I hadn't realized where it went. So download away, just make sure that you do check "Genitalia" whenever you use him. BTW, there's still a whole lot of bandwidth left, so don't be shy!:)

x2000 ( ) posted Sat, 06 July 2002 at 8:46 PM

And Paul? Nice dance.;)

Entropic ( ) posted Sat, 06 July 2002 at 9:55 PM

repeats the dance for x2k's enjoyment

x2000 ( ) posted Sun, 07 July 2002 at 7:23 AM

The fixed version is up now, so this minor problem is no longer a problem at all. Download away! So Paul, just how much does a person have to drink in order to dance like that?

Entropic ( ) posted Sun, 07 July 2002 at 6:08 PM

Five pints... of liquid lsd. ;) Paul

Wow! Bob, how did you get your hands on Poser 5 already? Man, that hair looks AMAZING! And the ground, is that a stock P5 shader? Damn, that must have taken forever to render...;) Keep 'em coming!

x2000 You're gonna end up having to keep a digital photo album of your babee.
