Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 7:57 am)
Try loading it into UVMapper Classic and turn right around and export with the "reverse winding" export option selected. I think Poser just reverses the normals not the order (winding) of the underlying geometry. Which is what your problem looks like. You may also be able to fix this by making the object double sided which gives you both winding directions. While easy to do it's a real waste of polygons to add an "inside" to the object. HTH - Dan
thanks 4 the 411 dan. i did try the reverse winding order option, but to no avail.... i think what imma do is just redo the whole damn thing. i think what it is is that i modeled the set using nurbs......... being new w/ using nurbs, i didnt go thru my options properly, (obviously, lol), so the karadai warrior will soon return.....

lol, triple you say??? oh yea....... what can i do w/ a set of props where BOTH sides have reversed normals? i have this armor set, and it failed testing. thats "cool", but what the hell can i do to fix it? i was told it has reversed normals, so i went thru the whole set w/ the group tool and reversed normals, only to find that that too showed reversed normals... can this be fixed in poser, or do i have to start from scatch again.if you need visuals to help you understand better, follow the link...... i posted images to explain w/ visuals what i cannot w/ words......
