Hi,

I've just started with Poser, but due to a computer problem i had to format the thing. Now i reeinstalled poser and i can not acces the normal figures that come with the Poser program!. It say's there is no group in geom, but when i look, there is. (at least i think). Does anyone know what this can be? or even more important, what i can do about it??.

I have deinstalled and reinstalled Poser about 5 times now, but it keeps giving me this error :o(((

sometimes the RSR files that are in the geo folder get fubared, and cause that to happen, might try deleting those and see if it does the trick for you, remember only the RSR files that are in the geometries folder, there's usually one for each obj.

Thanks, i did that but i still keep getting these error messages "No group in geom. cannot make rsrc file" and then "Cannot open recourse file Runtime/Geometries/P4NudeWoman/P4NudeWom.obj and when i look, i can see that this obj is there in that file?.. Its the same with every other figure that comes with Poser. When i start up the dressed male that is usualy there, is also missing. I reinstalled Victoria, and she works! Sventa

after unistalling poser, look with the explorer that all of the "metacreations " poser folders and subfolders are deleted! Sometimes the uninstallprograms do not remove them and you get a mix of old and new folders. delete the whole poserfolder and than install new

I did that now too, and installed it again. But i keep getting the same error :o(. I can't figure out what is wrong!, That didn't happen b4 the format... Sventa

try installing poser in a different folder? then if that works you can simply copy over the geometeries folder.
