When you mirror one side of the face or the other you actually get a whole different person. I knew a guy in the photo retouch biz that used to do this all the time not realizing that the final result no longer looked like the person. (People were always asking if he could remove hair/bangs etc from one side of the face.) -JH.
I remember reading about this face (evil half/good half) some time back. It's an interesting phenomenon. One difficulty with making a "real" 3D is keeping the similarity in a variety of expressions. I suspect the only way to do that right would be to make a whole new series of smile morphs from scratch. Eric Walters

Hi This is a W.I.P. first time I tried to make a 3D version of a friend. It starts with the SMGellar character from Duesentribe, through some morphing by JeffH for Azymuth, through more morphing by myself and the use of a texture map made from a pic of my friend's face. I need to make the face shorter top to bottom-particularly between the eyes and the tip of the nose-which also needs tweaking (no pun intended!:-). Hair needs maps! I am teaching myself UvMapper and looking to make some more morphs in Amorphium and P4. I have made MT's in RDS-but I want to work with a shaded OBJ. Thanks Duesentribe and JeffH! Eric Walters
