You could move all the primitives into position, export the entire thing as an .obj file, and then import the new mesh.

About a year or more ago, I built an augmented "compass rose" in P4 out of the basic primitives. I exported it as an .obj and loaded it into UVMapper. For some reason (almost certainly my inexperience with the mapper), it came through as a snarly mess. Even changing the oriention upon importation didn't help. Moving all the pieces around in Poser would have been interesting, but not impossible. I cheated and switched view to the Top camera, then exported again. Loaded into UVMapper again. This time it worked. I exported a nifty map and new obj from UVMapper and went on to the painting part of the project. If I hadn't been under deadline, I probably would have figured out why it worked one way but not the other, but at the time I was just happy to get my model into paintable form. So, yes, you can build with primitives. Unlike Constructive Solid Geometry you can only add, and not subtract, but there are some extra primitive shapes in the various Forums. And, yes, you can make one model out of the various parts. Carolly
