What is the best format for texture mapping in Carrara? I've always used TIF because it's lossless compression. It was mentioned that BMP is a good file format, but I find the file size get to big. What do you all use for High-rez modeling? --Ashley3D

I also prefer TIFs for the same reason as you. Also, since I work crossplatform, I find them more reliable for opening/editing in many programs. Add in support for many layers/channels, and it's a better format all around.

TIFFs because cross-platform + lossless compression :)
