This may present a problem for some NT users. During install Carrara prompts to install Direct X, NT 4 sp 4+ does include Direct X functionality but several NT only video cards (including mine, Evans and Sutherland) do not support it at all. Before installing Direct X, check with your card manufacture. If your card doesn't support Driext X you may run into several problems. I've only used Carrara for a few hours now, so far I haven't had any problems with the texture room or booleans. I haven't been able to cut and past though.
