In Poser 5 will you be able to paint onto the models like in Deep Paint 3d?

Looks like there's a lab that is similar to using uvmapper .bmp in a paint program. Doesn't look, from the screen shot, like it will paint directly on the model. But that's a good question and I too am on a search for a low cost alternative to Deep Paint. Amorphium paints right on the model, but won't export the texture. :( Someone said zpaint will do that but the demo sure doesn't look like it to me.

You cannot paint directly on the model like in Detailer. You still need to create maps using Photoshop, UV Mapper, Deep Paint, etc. However, you can add procedural shaders, which can create amazing effects with or without maps.

What does Deep Paint do?

Thanks for the replies Thanks Nosfiratu for note EvoShandor - DeepPaint 3d lets you paint onto a 3d model instead of a box tet map, sperial tet map etc
