Subject: threshold?

Sorry, I'm a little slow if it comes to abstract subjects. ;)

Now this is a colored object frames with black and white,
if I'm lucky enough, most beholders will first explore the wall
till they "find" the object... so it's a threshold, no?

I know these B&W pics with a color spot aren't very new or original,
but I like them and thought I give it a try. ;)

cheers
Thomas

Oh, and if this is acceptable, where should i put it for the challenge?

Nice idea Thomas, I like it. I don't see the wall first, the colour jumps out at me but then I see the frame. You can use the contest link at the top of this page & scroll down till you find photography (there are two zones for the contest) it may not be up until closer to the end of the month.

I would have to agree. Simply because the color stands out, my eyes went there first. Cool pic, but I don't really know if this is what Alpha had in mind for the threshold or not. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to shoot.
