Hi, currently I'm building a tower construction kit as a freebie. The first parts are now done, and yet many more will follow. With this construction kit, everybody can quickly build zillions of different towers, houses and castles. Because that YOU will be the user - who hopefully will like it ;-) - YOUR suggestions are needed: what do you want else? More roofs - more floors? More windows - less railings? Simply tell me, and I will include what you want and need into the Kit. Please look into the Bryce forum to see the pictures - just follow the link. Take care, Jimi

I guess I'm the first one here. Since I don't know what other parts you're planning to make I don't have any suggestions, yet. But this looks like it's going to be an exceptional item. What a great idea! Thank you for sharing with us.

Well, I'm planning some more parts wich will be found on the lower end or ground - with doors and stairways etc. Glad you like it. :) Take care, Jimi

That's beautiful work! How about a different onion-shaped roof that can be used for a more Eastern look sometimes. With an Eastern-shaped pointed archway somewhere and some Eastern-shaped pointed window openings on one level too for stacking for a different fantasy .. . -dg

The project, as is, looks wonderful! Since you ask for suggestions, here's a couple off the top of my head; Variety of textures; stones (several sizes) brick, concrete, even metal (the style you're working on would lend itself to that). Sky-bridges to link 2 or more towers together. Walls to do the same at ground level. Couple of levels designed to simulate ruins or battle damage with matching rubble piles. Extended, reinforced balcony to accommodate either "hanging gardens" or "outdoor dining" scenes. "Battlement" style railings Optional glassed in enclosures for balconies. Banners & pennants to hang from railings. Smaller porthole or arrow-slit windows to use for lower levels. Optional exterior-mounted platforms with winches for raising heavy items or construction materials to upper levels. Hope a couple of these strike your fancy - Either way, it's already looking very versatile & well-designed! Cheers!

Great suggestions! THANK YOU. :) - onion shaped top: will be hard to do for me, but I'll try - archway: yeah! - Textures: nope, sorry. There will probably one high wuality brick texture, the rest is up to you - Skybridges sound cool! Will do that. - Some basic walls are also good - some simple and some with openings for archers and so - ruins will be difficult, too. My modelling abilities are still low, I started only weeks ago. Will check if it is possible - Battlement railing: of course. :) - Extendet balkony: was done yet, will do some more. :) - Exterior-monted platform with winches: yeah, cool. So, this will take some time! I'm looking forward to model your suggestions. :) Take care, Jimi

VERY nice! No suggestions off the top of my head, but I wanted to give my encouragement... :)

Side turrets, wizards tower with crystal on top, observatory, dragon perches, gargoyles, forking towers, bell tower, gaurdposts, pillars ... I'll stop now :) With a little fussing you could make a rocketship from this thing. Hmmm. Portholes please?

Side turrets sounds coool, too. And of course pillars, portholes etc. I've written that on my list. :) Take care, Jimi

For Dragongirl: the onion-shaped roof. :) Had to think a day over it and then tried. Was a bunch of work, but I'm glad that I can now make these onions. :) Take care, Jimi

Here is the obigitory stupid question: Will this construction kit be able to be used in Poser without needing some other program to convert it? I know nothing about this sort of thing which is why I ask.

"Will this construction kit be able to be used in Poser without needing some other program to convert it?" Since I willprovide the kit in .3ds-Format, nearly every 3D program is able to import them. Sure will Poser. :) Take care, Jimi
