I've almost completet my morphing cigarette pack (no cigarettes yet G) BUT! I need some textures of cigarette packs, and as I do not smoke I can't just toss an empty pack in the scanner.

So: Someone who smoke please do and e-mail it to me :o)

(guess I'm gonna be drowning in cigarette packs now...)

AND if someone would sacrifice a cigarette and scan that as well L I'd be delighted :o)

Why not have some fun and make up your own brand, along with a few bogus Surgeon General health warnings? Coffin Nail brand smokes has such a nice ring to it. :)

ernyoka1 I hate to be a killjoy but I really should have said something when you did your 'Coke' prop. Using copyrighted/trademarked materials without permission can get you in a world of trouble whether it's a free item or something you're charging for. Unless you're going to contact the respective companies to find out what their policy is, Little Dragon has the best suggestion... just make up a name. Who knows?... if you find something good one of the major corporations might have to negotiate with you for the rights to use it some day :-)

Here's a challenge for you ernyoka... See if you can create a cigarette packet with the flip lid ;). Being from Australia, the one in the above image is not as common :). And sorry, I don't smoke.

cooler, I don't think Coke is going to 'have kittens' over some one making a 3d prop with their logo on it since it's being given away, not hurting their marketshare, not costing them any money and in no way harming the company. Odds are they don't even know that such a program even exists.

To the Coke issue: It's not QUITE the coca cola logo as I've made it with the freeware font Loki Cola, which does look very much the real thing but just isn't after all G btw, instead of "Enjoy", this cup reads "Expose" ;o) But I DID think of it and was very tempted to make it a Posa Cola. I just might change it to that...

Charlie_Tuna, I beg to differ.... in 1998 I was hired by a local entertainment company to do the advertising graphics for a series of bicycle races. Since Coke was one of the national sponsors, although they had no involvement at the local level, I thought including that info along with a prominent display of the Coke logo was in order. Even though there were only 50 posters printed & only displayed in one (very small) Milwaukee suburb, the day before the race I & the promoter received a 'cease & desist' order for use of non-approved trademarked material. the posters were removed & all mention of Coke was removed before they were replaced. Additionally it really doesn't matter if they 'have kittens' or not. The fact is that they own the trademarks/copyrights to the material & only they have the right to determine where, when, how, & by whom is it used. You can buy into the 'I'm just a little guy so they won't notice', "I'm just giving it away' or 'It's really good advertising for them' myths but what you're doing is playing Russian roulette with way too many bullets in the gun :-)
