Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 03 1:41 pm)
VID: I did that and it works, but I can only get to the head. My modeling program doesn't read the Poser groups. I can separate the head properly, but that's it. FYRE: I must be doing something with the figure that disables the Morph Target (No world transformations) option, because it isn't working, although it has in the past, and with P4s hasn't been needed.
I'm exporting as .obj and not moving the mesh at all once in Blender, although I have used the .obj sizer utility in the past to excellent results. I haven't zeroed out all the morphs, but I did do the other steps. I was hoping to use the Vic morphs to get as close as I can to what I want the easy way in Poser, and then fine tune, vertex by vertex in Blender. From what you're saying, that doesn't sound possible.
I figured out a cheesy work-around that gets the job done. I export from Poser, import to Blender, select all the vertices in the mesh and move them to synch up with the already imported seed file. Crude but effective. What is the point in having an offset between the seed file and the .cr2? A giant pain in the ass!

I've noticed that when I open the Vic or Mike figures in Poser from the figures library that they are larger than the seed files when I import them. I think the largeness of the library figures causes them to shift, which throws them off for exporting individual parts to develop custom morphs. Morphing works when I import the seed figure into my modeling program, Blender, then export that, but only on the head. I can't get to the other body parts. Is there any way to easily size and pose the library figures so they will synch up properly with the seed file so I can properly custom morph them?
