Bullet time sequences (as in where the camera spins around the character at a frozen point in time) are possible in Poser and have been done. Doing the mad, avoid the bullet type effect may not be possible. Here's a link to doing bullet time from Curious Labs.Attached Link: http://www.cocs.com/poser/matrixkick.htm
I also have a tutorial at my site that describes how to make the "floating kick" scene: the "Trinity" character jumps up, the camera rotates, and "Trinity" kicks the police officer. --John

The "avoid the bullet" type effect could be done if you combine the use of Poser with a compositing application like After Effects.

I'm excited by your enthusiasm! As you progress you'll find that there's often hours of tedium involved in animation. I encourage you to learn to crawl, then walk, and then run. If you learn the basics well and maintain your enthusiasm, you'll do great!
Don't forget to have fun along the way and try weird stuff - or advanced stuff. But make sure you learn the fundamentals. And when it's 3 am, you've been rendering for 8 hours, and your machine crashes, don't forget the end result you're probably hoping for - the look of awe, joy, amusement, or outrage on your audience's face.
It's worth it!

Would it be posible to achive awesome effects in Poser such as The Matrix and The One. I only ask because with the awesome rendering power of Poser and I know it would take forever but could it be done? Has it been done? A link anyone? Just asking as I am mainly focusing in animation in Poser. CAT
