The servers at our co-lo are getting fairly well trounced with the new website and P5 info. Our website may 404 or hang for the next few hours or so. You may want to try back after 9:30PM pst if you're not successful connecting. Darn! Kupa

Congratulations! You're popular!! This bodes well for the commercial success of Poser 5.

Poppi ( ) posted Mon, 05 August 2002 at 9:32 PM

be happy....many are so very excited for p5. i am even interested in the face lab thing...and the price is not awful. nor, will i have to upgrade/purchase a new computer. it's all good.

diana ( ) posted Mon, 05 August 2002 at 9:35 PM

Why not post some specs here kupa. I'm trying to get the system requirements and pricing from the "horses mouth" so to speak. The features page I got but everything else is stalled.

mglant ( ) posted Mon, 05 August 2002 at 9:37 PM

I am poised and ready to buy...when is it shipping/released. I will be at DragonCon...are you taking direct orders there? Mick

Charlie_Tuna ( ) posted Mon, 05 August 2002 at 9:51 PM

9:30 PST is 12:30 am for us east coast folks :-)

Why shouldn't speech be free? Very little of it is worth anything.

martindj ( ) posted Mon, 05 August 2002 at 9:52 PM

I hope you Americans will go to bed soon and give the rest of the world (especially New Zealand) a chance to see the site.

We're getting updated versions of the animals ... and that's the bottom line, 'cause Stone Cold Kupa says so!

sirkrite ( ) posted Mon, 05 August 2002 at 10:31 PM

Hey Kupa! In the file formats it doesn't have obj format listed for import, just for export. Is that right?

jchimim ( ) posted Mon, 05 August 2002 at 10:44 PM

Kupa, you've earned the right to go out and get hammered yurself (That's "pissed" for our friends in the UK.)

Hi, Starlet! I surely hope they've made you comfy there! ...Drip line for the coffee, pillow for the small of the back, extra arm to hold the phone, 4th eye to keep on the server, these aren't luxuries, but necessities of the job! And you thought being early would mitigate things? ::broad smile:: Kupa, I'll be kind and look in during the small hours, when you and everyone else who worked to put this together should be getting some well-earned shut-eye... especially considering the questions we'll have for you tomorrow. ;^) {hugs} Carolly

Your site looks as wonderful as your products. Your tag images on the boxes and reading materials have always been stunningly beautiful and dynamic. Poser 5 is no exception. It all looks and sounds so great! And the pricing!!!! Wow. You are certainly a man who is true to his word. I've been in a wheelchair for a couple of days and after seeing your site and all the promise of P5 I feel a bit like quoting that Peter Sellers character in Kubric's "Dr. Strangelove": "My Kupa! My KUPA!...I can walk. I CAN WALK!!!" Thanks Steve. On to Poser 6 {;-) Q

1024 x 768? Oh crap. My vision is just way too bad to handle that. I think I'm gonna go somewhere and cry now. Kate the sad
