Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 26 2:05 pm)
Kupa said that dual proc programming would definately not be implimented in P5. I personaly think you will be waiting for P6 or beyond for that. and by that time the computer you buy now will likely be out of date, spend your money on the most and fastest ram you can get. but that's just my opinion.:) I think he did hint that network rendering might be a possability though but i lost the thread it was in.

I don't want to sound ungrateful or anything, after all the ammount of new features and just the upgrade prices you are giving are enough to make one want to kiss your feet, but crosstalk has been a big stink in my work with Poser. Have this bug been fixed in Poser 5? What about files with groups made in Poser 4 having holes in ProPak? Another question I have is, since I'm thinking about buying a new computer (I have a Dell dual PII 400Mhz with 384 MB of ram that might be bare minimum for Poser 5) you have said dual support won't be a part of Poser 5 first release but it sounded as if future versions of Poser will have it. Now that we are dealing with collision detection , clothing, hair etc. I imagine you will make it a priority in your next release or maybe future update to Poser 5? I'd like to know what are your plans since I will make my decision about buying a computer that supports dual CPUs based on the projected plans for Poser 5.
