Are you wanting to export a terrain with a water texture? That's easy enough. If you want to export just the texture, like your water on an infinite plane, that's not so easy. Poser doesn't use procedurals that I know of so what you have to do is export bitmaps and bring them into poser as texture and bum files. I'll play a bit and see if I can post later on how to do this.
Joe Kurz has two 'water properties' in freestuff somewhere....can't recall where I downloaded them. They have a realistic waved surface....an excellent idea for a product or freebie. Haven't used them yet, so I don't know how large they are or whether they tile when placed alongside each other. If you have a good tileable phototexture of water and put it onto either Wappin's or Spanki's tileable surfaces it looks amazingly real, too. Just pick an image that's fairly uniform, so that the repeats don't form a recognizable pattern, and you'll have a sea or lake as large as you want.
