How do you import a poser figure into bryce??? also if you get them in there must they be pre-posed or can u pose them still in bryce???

You have to export them as an obj file and they must be already posed. You most also collect all the textures for it and put them in the same folder as the obj file or Bryce will not be able to find them.

Online Now!

Also bryce handles transparent objects differently. Like hair. You have to choose the hair layers and go in and place the transparent map in the second collumn (under transparent) in the material section and manually adjust it. (first collumn is for the texture).

There's another way. Export as .obj, then get Grouper from the free stuff here. Open the obj and resave it. When you import into Bryce, your model will be more manegable and if any textures don't show up from the original location, bryce will prompt you to find them. Grouper reorganizes the mesh parts and groups them into groups that use the same texture. Easier to edit that way. Transmap hair can be more challenging. There are a few tuts on the web about that.
