Anybody got a simple tutorial that uses available utilities to create a new CR2 file which "welds" clothing (e.g. bikini top and bottom) to an existing poser geometry? Sure would help.

heyas; phil c used to have one, but it isn't for a cr2. you actually combine the figure and the clothing geometry. is that what you mean to do? to create like a 'business woman'? but instead create a 'bikini woman'?

heyas; i think phil has that tutorial hidden somewhere on his site. or somewhere. it uses compose to merge the two objects together. however, you could probably accomplish the same thing if you put the clothing on the figure (zero both out), and export from poser. oh, wait... yeah, that will make one chest:1 and the other chest:2. but then you could combine them in uvmapper. if you'd a mind to. actually, you could do it in a txt editor with search and replace, and just get rid of all the :1's and :2's. was that helpful, or do you want me to do more of a step-by-step kinda thing? :)

John Ghastley has a tutorial for this at http://209.92.41.204/Poser/ Lots of great Poser freebies, too. I think Mason had a tutorial, as well, but his site got killed by GeoCities a while back.

Thanks for the advice and links. I'm still fiddling. Loaded Java to try to run Compose. Can't use Obj2Max cause I've not got Max. This should really be much much simpler. Any further help still appreciated.
