I have a question that only seems to occur to me when I have try to tint an existing texture to match another texture. For example you create the a head texture using photo graphs but still need/wish to use an exixting body texture. Is there some way to figure out the proper tint to apply to the unterling object to get the texture above to look similar in color the the head texture. I do this now using the brute force method of adjusting the object color and looking at the figure and then adjusting the color again, and again, and again and again.... you get the point. Is there some mathematical formula, that by taking the RGB values from a pixel of the head texture and the RGB values from a pixel of the body texture could figure out what RGB value to change the object color to so that the pixel of the body texture is same color as the pixel in the head texture. Has somebody done any tutorials on this? I seem to remember an old Graphic programming book i read once using C that had algorithyms for this type of stuff but I can't seem to locate it. Thanks, Thorgrim
