Subject: Poser 5 or Vue 4?

I'm trying to decide which way to go on this issue. I primarily want to create images with people in them. Some out side some in. I have Poser 4 and wish to create and pose my characters in Poser. I have seen some amazing works of art done in Vue and I was wondering how good is the importing of scenes created in Poser 4? Do the textures import well and do the objects retain the smoothness they had in Poser? Does Vue work well for indoor scenes as well as it does for landscapes? Can you render portrait type pictures using figures imported from Poser? Any input would be greatly appreciated

Have a look in our Vue gallery. you will find lots of interior scenes. Here is an image of Alekssander who is great for such scenes. He did lots of interiors and and he did it with Vue 2. (I hope you don't mind Alekssander) Vue 4 can much more. Vue imports Poser4 Pz3 scenes exactly as they are in Poser, with all texturesn transparencies and bumps. Lighting is different in Vue, as Vue has volumetric lights and Poser not. Personally I would not do portrait like images in Vue (what for?, as you only need a face for that). Guitta

Argh, Guitta ! You just remembered me how many Alekssander was good at interior scenes... I think this one is one of his best interior scenes... One day, I'll be able to reach this kind of interiors ! :-) Argentium Thri'ile PS : as for the Thorgrim question, as Guitta said, you can't find more easy and perfect render program to import Poser's characters...

My question is will Vue 4.1 be able to import scenes from the upcoming Poser 5? I currently own both Poser 4 and Vue 4, with Poser 5 on preorder. JAS
