Subject: What Qualifies A Vue Rendered Image For Posting In The Vue Forum???

kruzr ( ) posted Mon, 19 August 2002 at 9:55 AM · edited Wed, 06 November 2024 at 11:07 AM

Good Morning Gebe . . . . . 8^) You said: "I'm terribly sorry, but I had to move your amusing message about my vacation photo to the OT forum." You also compared my thread to another one, that you had to remove, because it had nothing to do with Vue. Well, I'm not upset with you for doing so, BUT, I felt that mine was a Vue related topic, being that . . . . . I created the "Picture Frame" object in Amapi, for use in Vue, this is because you can't model objects in Vue. I rendered the image in Vue, due to the great rendering capabilities of the Vue rendering engine. The idea of your vacation picture in the image was only for a novelty, I needed some kind of a image to put into the picture frame. I thought it would add some humor to the post, rather than just saying, ( here's a picture frame object rendered in Vue. ) What makes a Vue rendered image qualify for posting in the Vue forum??? Is it necessary to have trees & other greenery included in the image, to make it a Vue image??? Do I have to create a landscape with mountains & bodies of water to qualify the image for a posting in the Vue forum??? I'm sure I've seen several Vue images posted, that were not complete scenes??? Maybe you could please post the required criteria, needed for an image to be posted in the Vue forum, that way everyone would know ahead of time what type of a Vue rendered image would be allowed in the Vue forum or not??? As I said earlier in my post, I'm not upset that you removed my post, but I am somewhat confused as to, ( What is needed in a Vue rendered image, to allow it for posting in the Vue forum? ) Anyway, you're the forum moderator, so what ever you say goes. Have a good one . . . Mark. ;^)

LOL, sorry, but now I must have a big laugh:-) The thread is back here in the forum. I have to explain: I NEVER, NEVER thought this were a Vue rendered image. I toke it as a 100% photo and the whole story as a joke (as it was).

I'm sure Sharen who left a comment also did not suppose a Vue render.

This is a big compliment to your image, at least.

I would like others have a look at this image, it is a little before in this thread.

You too? We were all tricked ;) Wish I looked that young, some people have just everything :) regards maria

gebe ( ) posted Mon, 19 August 2002 at 10:56 AM

The girl is NOT me! But yes, I'm blond, sometimes more, sometimes less:-). But my age is not the same as the girl's on the image. Guitta

Myske ( ) posted Mon, 19 August 2002 at 11:37 AM

Lol. I think sharen and I are not that age anymore either (more my daughters age) and i suppose we were all blond in this one even though my hair is (was) black. But the joke was fun (at least he took a nice looking girl) regards maria

That render should get posted in the gallery along with this story. It's a great story. I must say that in 6 months that I have been gone there has been a leap taken using Vue. I can see the difference in the galleries. Before and after. I must say there is some real nice stuff showing up there now. Excellent. Keep it up.

LOL, you know I use to be a blonde little girl, but then I grew up, and now my hair color is really dark brown, but Mike likes it blonde so there you go, now I am a blonde and I am a fake, there I said it, a fake blonde and Myske is correct I am way older now.....in my (choke, choke) middle 40's ......fake and old.....Oh my I need a hug.....Sharen

YL ( ) posted Tue, 20 August 2002 at 11:05 AM

Hummm ! I hope we will have soon a picture of you, Sharen ! lol ;=) Yves

Myske ( ) posted Tue, 20 August 2002 at 11:15 AM

Oh, Sharen ! lets try to find some pictures from the time we were 19. Lol regards Maria ( who is in her end 40ies and painted aswell.)

YL ( ) posted Tue, 20 August 2002 at 12:10 PM

Is it a suggestion Maria ? We could also build a photo album with all the Vue girls (and boys) in their eighteen ! But in that case, it will be difficult to choose the less bad photo from me lol Yves ( guy in his mid 30ies, but near his end 30ies)

Myske ( ) posted Tue, 20 August 2002 at 1:08 PM

Hmmm, Yves, I love end thirties guys. my husband is 36. An album with everyone 18 to 20 sounds honest to me. :) equal changes no matter the age, ( the real black and white could tell something in some cases:) regards maria
