Nice work on the new map. You might get a more pleasing effect on the render if you increase the focal length on a closeup to something around 100. It will reduce the fisheye effect distorting his nose & lips. Please forgive me for branching your thread, but I'd like to mention this idea here since you brought up the lack of male maps once again. -- Has anyone else considered simply remapping the male figure to to match the female figure so that they could both use the same maps? Sounds silly, I know, (quit snickering back there), but last year, when I remapped the P3 female figure for the BigFaceUV version, just for sport, I also did a matching layout for the male figure that allowed them both to use the same maps. Well durned, (sorry, watching Gunsmoke) if it didn't work amazingly well. With the exception of an unusual scar which ends up in the center of the male hip, the rest of the features can be aligned quite well. Unless the female character's T-Map has a lot of facial makeup, it actually ends up looking somewhat natural. This image used an unrevised map created for the female version. I was going to try it on the P4 male sometime, however, after recently remapping the P3 fem to accept P4 maps, you know... "been there -- done that" and there's a whole lot of other new ground I'd like to explore. If anyone else feels like giving it a shot, the ability to display a background image in recent versions of Steve Cox's "UVMapper" would make it pretty simple -- though still tedious. (Hoping someone else will try so I won't have to!) -Nance
That's a fantastic idea, but I wouldn't have a clue how to do it. I've only used UVmapper a couple of times. I managed to get a usable map out of it once. It's probably just practise that I need. But what you suggest is presently beyond me. I can hope that someone with more knowledge with take this challenge.

Yep, folks, there aren't very many male texture maps. I've got all I've been able to find in one folder. Maybe about a dozen, if that many. While there are tons for the P4 Fem, some of them exquisite works of art. I've tried the male maps and wasn't satisfied with the eyebrows and the lips. I'm only just beginning to figure out PSP6, so I don't consider myself an great artist. But I'm trying out of necessity. I need a good basic male texture for my Shadowclash characters. Comments please.
