----------------------------------------------------- Dynamic Cloth Clothify your prop to transform it into realistic dynamic cloth complete with physics. Assign collision objects to make the cloth flow and drape around any object in your scene. Add the new Wind Force prop to create realistic wind effects for your animations. ------------------------------------------------------- Does this mean we can take any of the old (static) clothing figures that exist now and "clothify" them?

Not always. You see, most routines like this first detect if there's a collision between the vertexes, edges, and faces of the cloth and any deflector objects. If so, it moves the cloth until there is no more deflection, checking every so often. Many of the P4 conforming clothes are "capped"... the ends of sleeves and pantslegs have a polygon cap at the end. This automatically clips the body, and results in some utter weirdness if you try to "clothify" them. Also, I think that P4 clothing would need to remain conforming items. To fully take advantage of the new system, a clothing item likely would need o be a single group, and therefore not be able to be fully conforming. Besides, some items like tights, swimsuits, and the lie would work best as conforming figures instead of "cloth" items. This is my own, personal estimation. I do not work for Curious Labs, I have never seen P5, nor has anyone disclosed anything tome. I'm just sharing what I've deduced and surmised based on comments here and there.

That's pretty much the conclusion I've reached, as well. You should be able to modify any existing clothing item to make it dynamic, provided you have modeling tools, but it might take more work than it's worth. And kupa himself said elsewhere that tight-fitting clothes would probably be better served as conforming items, since they wouldn't have many dynamics, anyway.
