This is a warning that this person returned to Renderosity under another name and with a bogus e-mail address. They downloaded and reposted two pics by Verdie Ingram and one of mine (Elizabeth Pope) as being their own artwork. Verdie caught it pretty quickly. I got home from work and contacted Traveler who pulled them and then scrambled the log on password of this person. This will not prevent this person from returning again. I am posting this warning to other artists that this might be tried again on someone else, or us again. I wish to especially warn anyone who posted to the the thread in Complaint and Debate Forum under "Emperor Palpatine". If any of you are familiar with our style of artwork and see a pic that is ours under another person's name PLEASE let us know immediately. this is chaosarchangel (i am using my friends computer) i noticed that my art was also tampered with !!! my "vampires in hawaii" pic was submiited in FEB and now it's back again in the whats new !!! I don't know whats going on but i don't like it... ChaosArchangel

He tried to mess with me over my gallery post as well. But he is rather stupid and I squashed him quite easily. It's a shame that people act like this. But That's the human race for you. Makes me glad I'm not from this planet ;-). ScottA

Contact Traveler about any problems with someone reposting your work as their own. Tell him the title of the possibly stolen picture and your picture's title and time that it was uploaded. Traveler will check into it and then pull it if it is a stolen peice that has been reposted by someone else. We should not tolerate this!

steps are being made with the forum software to lock out malicious users. its sad that it has to be done, but apparently some people will never learn.
