I have hit the wall on this image and I don't know where to go from here. It is not to the point where I would like it, but I don't know what to improve. Any feedback and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. -Locke

get rid of the mountains in the background, add some more building material and put it underwater

A drowning woman boney? I think you're loosing your touch. I think you should contrast the ruins with a big city in the background. I really can't explain why but this sounds like a good idea to me... but don't drown the woman... or is she stone, now that I look at it I can't tell.

I think you have to move the background (mountain) further away and fill the space between with e.g. a city or temple.

Thanks for all of the advice, a city sounds good. I like the idea of the contrast between the two. And I'll try to make it a little more obvious that the woman is stone.
