Subject: Problems with installing Poser4 under XP

ChrisV ( ) posted Thu, 22 August 2002 at 10:11 PM · edited Sat, 10 August 2024 at 1:16 AM

I've been using Poser4 ever since it was released on a desktop PC running Windows 98 (and still does). Having recently acquired a new laptop with Windows XP installed, I find that, although successfully installing the original P4 CD, it won't accept the code reference to 'open up' the program. Has anybody else had this problem and, if so, what's the work-around?

Jaager, many thanks for your input about the CL download to overcome memory problems. Tried that and installed it on the new laptop but the program still refuses to accept the password code! Any suggestions as to what to do now anyone??
